Responsibilities – main tasks
Avant Studio is leading the deployment of a new NXP International Technical Training Office in the electronic identification business area. NXP is the worldwide leader in the exploding ID technologies, mobile and secure transactions, contact and contactless, banking and e-government, NFC, RFID tags and labels.
A challenging project for a talented and self-motivated technical engineer, whose responsibilities will include after an initial period of induction and internal training:
- Manage and provide technical product trainings to our customers (b2b), who include the most innovating and leading companies in the mentioned application areas.
- Prepare technical support material, documentation, presentations, handouts, activities and exercises.
- Create expert references and application-specific developments.
- Practice continuous system knowledge development in the targeted areas, in close co-operation with NXP’s second line technical support.
- Ensure top quality course development and course delivery.
- Organize and manage training facilities & locations, including training equipment and documentation material, activities and exercises.
- Promote and develop training solutions based upon NXP’s course catalogue according to customer requirements; ensure proposed courses are efficient and deliverable.
- Identifies and employs successful training techniques, styles and methods, following up on course enrolment, evaluation & feedback.
- Provide consulting expert services to customers and partners, drive business development activities.
- Design and develop web support environment.
- Frequent travelling in Europe and Latam is required.
- Location: Barcelona or Madrid, home based office initially.
Profile

- Structured and analytical working method.
- Excellent communication skills, previous training or teaching experience is an asset.
- Very strong English skills are a must, knowledge of French, Spanish or German a plus.

- Good at reaching ambitious targets.
Your background:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical or Software engineering.
- Desired experience in the following areas
o Mobile embedded software development.
o RFID, Smartcards, Near Field Communication technologies
o Contact and contactless technology, Mifare technologies
o Java Card based OS development, JCOP.
o Basics of cryptography
